The seeds of transformation that we see here in the Philippines are the people.  In Philippine myth, the supreme god of the Tagalogs, Bathala, planted a seed of the bamboo reed where the first human beings, Malakas (The Strong) and Maganda (The Beautiful), were believed to have emerged, and these are the two qualities in the One Seed that is in each and every one of us.
